Sink was created during a journey from London to Yunnan, China. It explores the enduring connection between natural rhythms and modern life. The recessed lid lets poured liquid rise and vanish in cycles—flooding, then draining—like tides in a basin. These shifts unfold across mountain time, within a common ceramic sink, and during a brief act of tea drinking.
